We are delighted to be conducting our fourth year of motorcycle sales at the Shuttleworth Aerodrome. These auctions have become a popular event in the motorcycle calendar with hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts turning up to view and bid making it an ideal event to sell your motorcycle.
We are now accepting entries of Classic, Modern and Retro Motorcycles for our Spring Sale.
The Auction takes place amongst the historic hangars of this working aeronautical and automotive visitor attraction, and if you join us on either our viewing or auction day, you also get complimentary access to explore the estates collections, grounds and Swiss Garden.
We will be looking to build on the success of last year's Shuttleworth sales which saw thousands of registered bidders joining us in person and online, with a fantastic average sales rate and over £2million worth of motorcycles sold.

Entry Fees
Our standard cataloguing fee for motorcycles is £100 plus VAT. We also offer packages which include collection and transport to the auction: for £175 plus VAT we will collect your motorcycle, store it in our unit and deliver it to the auction. For £225 plus VAT our transport partners will transport and store the motorcycle for you. The seller’s commission is 10% plus VAT (subject to a minimum fee of £50 plus VAT).
Full marketing benefits are included where we will promote your motorcycle worldwide and this includes script writing and photography by our motorcycle specialists.

Interested in Buying a Motorcycle?
If you are interested in bidding at this auction, then you will need to register to bid. You will need to upload one form photo ID and one proof of address (EG: A photo driving licence OR a passport and recent utility bill) to complete your registration. If you are looking to bid online, once you have logged into your account click on ‘Register to bid live’, you will then be asked to upload valid payment card details prior to bidding. If you are the successful bidder a payment on account of £500 will automatically be taken on the fall of the hammer.
To ease the registration process, we encourage all bidders who plan to bid at the auction to pre-register online and upload their ID in advance of the auction. This can be done here. Registration can also be completed in person at the event.
If you are specifically interested in a particular lot we recommend that you contact the specialist listed alongside the vehicle, they can then discuss access for you to view the vehicle in the auction hall ahead of bidding.
Viewing is available the day before the auction, Saturday 18th April 9am to 4pm
Day of the auction from 10am until the Auction commences.
All of the motorcycles will be available for in-person viewing and inspection at the venue.
Auction
Sunday 19th April
Bidding will commence at 11am. The sale will also be live streamed on our Iconic Auctioneers website allowing those around the world to partake in the action. Bidding will be available online, via telephone or via commission pre-bid for those unable to join us in person. Take a look at our Buyer’s Guide for more information.
Bidding at the sale will be available in person, or if you are unable to join us on the day of the auction, we offer three absentee bidding options: online, by phone or via commission.

Please note entry to the auction saleroom is via catalogue (£5 admits two) these are available to buy on the day.
Parking
Parking is FREE and operated by the venue, please follow their signage and park appropriately.
Payment & Collection
If you are the winning bidder you will be invoiced directly after the sale. Full payment must be received before any items are available to be released.
All vehicles must be removed from the Venue by 2pm on the Monday following the auction. A member of our administration team will contact you by email after the auction to confirm your transport plans. If you are unable to collect the vehicle yourself our transport partners can assist. Please contact them directly for a quote.
