The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT is the muscle car of the SUV world—a machine that takes the American appetite for power and pairs it with genuine all-weather practicality. By 2014, the Grand Cherokee SRT had evolved into a true performance icon. The facelifted model brought sharper styling, a new eight-speed automatic gearbox, and even more technology, but the heart of the beast remained its 6.4-litre Hemi V8. “It’s a muscle car in an SUV suit,” wrote Car and Driver, “with a soundtrack that’s pure Detroit thunder.” For those who wanted their family car to make a statement at every stoplight, the SRT was the answer.
