DESCRIPTION
Background:
Launched as the first all-new Bentley of the modern era under Volkswagen Group stewardship, the second-generation Continental GT built on the reputation of its predecessor with enhanced dynamics, sharper styling and improved refinement. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6-litre W12 producing over 560bhp, it combined effortless performance with long-distance comfort and cutting-edge technology, all wrapped in quintessential Bentley luxury. The Mulliner Driving Specification added further exclusivity with bespoke finishes and a sporting edge.
The Car:
First registered in 2012 and delivered new by Bentley Birmingham, this UK-supplied right-hand drive Continental GT has covered only 10,100 miles from new. Specified in Silver Tempest over a Portland and Beluga leather interior with dark stained Burr Walnut veneers, it presents in truly outstanding condition inside and out.
The desirable Mulliner Driving Specification includes diamond-quilted hide seats and door inserts, drilled alloy pedals, knurled gear lever, and 21" polished two-piece alloy wheels. This car also features acoustic glazing, bi-function gas-discharge headlights, power boot operation, rear-view camera, veneered case, Bentley treadplates and a host of other high cost factory options as detailed in the accompanying build sheet.
Recent servicing by a Bentley specialist includes a health check and fluids service. The car wears a matching set of premium Pirelli tyres and drives as one would expect – smooth, responsive and deeply refined. There are no known faults or non-original modifications, and the car remains in factory specification throughout.
Kept in private enthusiast ownership and used sparingly, this example has clearly led a pampered life. It would be difficult to find another with such low-mileage and in such original, collector-grade condition.
