A known improvement for these models, the roof motor has been relocated to the boot for long term reliability. One minor flaw inside the cabin is a broken glove box hinge – the compartment still opens but would benefit from a replacement hinge.

Recently fitted with a new clutch and dual-mass flywheel just 3,000 miles ago, the drivetrain reported to be in strong mechanical health. The car benefits from polybushed suspension front and rear, Eibach lowering springs and Sachs dampers, offering a taut, responsive ride.
