SUMMARY

This low-mileage TVR Tamora is a thrilling analogue British roadster, featuring lightweight construction and a potent straight-six engine - ready to be enjoyed.

DESCRIPTION

Background
Unveiled at the 2000 Birmingham Motor Show, the TVR Tamora marked a new chapter for the British automaker. Officially launched in 2002, the two-seater sports car was developed to fill the gap left by TVR's outgoing Chimaera and Griffith models, offering an accessible entry point into the brand’s high-performance line-up.

Named after a character from Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus, the Tamora continued TVR’s tradition of dramatic flair - both in name and design. While company founder Peter Wheeler stepped back from hands-on design duties, the project was spearheaded by a team led by Damian McTaggart, who also shaped the car’s distinctive interior. Despite the shift in creative leadership, Wheeler retained final approval over the finished product, ensuring the Tamora stayed true to TVR's bold, unorthodox ethos.

The Car
This gleaming example, finished in blue with contrasting tan leather, shows just over 30,000 miles and comes with a full service history, two spare keys and an MOT valid until October 2025. Produced for just under four years and succeeded by the T350, the Tamora is quite a rare beast - and as one of the last TVRs, it has speed and power written all over it.

The service file is well documented, with supporting invoices for both recent visits and earlier work. The car remains in standard mechanical specification and has covered very limited mileage despite its age.

The wheels are in exceptional condition, with no marks or signs of corrosion. The interior continues this trend, showing no blemishes on the seats, trim, steering wheel or gear lever. The fabric section of the roof also retains its original colour and condition.

TVRs are a rare sight on the road, making this a perfect car for the finer days of the year. The current owner has had it for 13 years, during which time it has been kept in a dry garage and used sparingly for shows and weekend trips.
