SUMMARY

An exceptionally rare UK-market 1970 Honda CB750 K0, one of the first four into the country in 1970.

DESCRIPTION

Background:
A true landmark in motorcycle history, the Honda CB750 redefined performance and reliability when launched in 1969, earning its title as the world’s first 'Superbike'. Its four-cylinder engine, front disc brake and electric start set a new benchmark, with the early sandcast and die-cast K0 models now among the most collectible Hondas of all. UK-supplied examples are extremely rare, especially those with known early provenance.

The Bike:
Registered new in the UK in January 1970, this particular K0 is one of approximately 20 early examples imported by Honda to 'test the water' prior to wider release. It is believed to be one of the first four CB750s brought into the country, making it a highly significant machine in British and Japanese motorcycling history.

Finished in the correct Candy Ruby Red and fitted with a new clock showing just 100 miles, the bike has been restored to an exceptional standard. It is a correct numbers example, retaining its original UK-market rear light and key factory details such as correct HM300 exhausts. The bike is offered with a vast history file documenting its provenance and restoration. Tax and MOT-exempt as an historic vehicle.

A rare opportunity to acquire a UK-supplied CB750 K0 in show-quality condition, supported by extensive documentation and early registration status. One for the serious collector. In running and riding condition ready to use

Specification highlights:
• UK-registered in January 1970
• One of the first four CB750s brought into the UK
• Correct 'Die Cast' model in Candy Ruby Red
• Restored to an excellent standard
• Just 100 miles since new clock fitted
• Correct-numbers bike with UK-spec rear light

• Tax and MOT-exempt
