SUMMARY
A remarkably original 1975 Honda CB175 with just 7,000 miles. US import with only one UK-owner, dry stored and carefully preserved.
DESCRIPTION
Background:
The Honda CB175 was a staple of the lightweight motorcycle scene during the 1970s, blending everyday usability with Honda’s trademark reliability. Its smooth twin-cylinder engine, lightweight chassis and period styling made it a favourite among new and experienced riders alike. Original examples are becoming increasingly difficult to find, particularly those that remain in standard specification.
The Bike:
Imported from the US and registered to a single UK-keeper since arrival, this 1975 CB175 shows just 7,000 miles and remains in largely untouched and original condition. It retains its factory exhaust system and the overall presentation suggests long term care and minimal use. The chrome is generally very good, with no rust visible on the wheels. A small scuff is noted on one of the exhaust downpipes, although this does not significantly detract from the appearance. The seat remains in good condition.
Having been dry stored in recent years, the bike runs and rides very well. A light mechanical check would be sensible before regular use, but this is a strong candidate for continued preservation or gentle enjoyment.
