This breathtaking car was UK-supplied and is one of just 50 right-hand drive, all new, limited-edition Aventadors commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Lamborghini. It goes on sale with Silverstone Auctions on May 28^th for the guide price of £285,000 to £330,000. It has 12,300 miles on the clock.

Arwel Richards of Silverstone Auctions, says of the car: “Lamborghini chose the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2013 to unveil its newest edition of the Aventador, the LP720-4 50th Anniversary Coupé. It was built in celebration of the company's 50th birthday and 50 years of creating the world’s most audacious supercars. This was not to be a special edition limited to only a range of colours but, as its name suggests, the Aventador LP720-4 50th Anniversary boasts a modest increase in performance with the engine calibration tweaked to provide 20 additional horsepower. This yielded a noteworthy increase in performance, bringing the 0–62 mph time down to an exceptional 2.9 seconds and the top speed up to 217 mph.”

In addition, the new car's aerodynamics were improved with redesigned front and rear fascias, larger front intakes, a larger rear diffuser with extensive meshwork in an effort to further increase aerodynamics and dissipate heat from the engine bay and, overall, this resulted in a 50 per cent increase in aerodynamic efficiency over the standard-production Aventador. Only 50 “Anniversario” Coupés were built, most in left-hand drive, and all sold immediately. With some 43 left-hand drive cars going to the United States, European and Middle Eastern buyers were eager to get their hands on this very special car, resulting in a very limited allocation of right-hand drive cars to the United Kingdom. The vendor says the car is one of four UK supplied cars.

Like all 50th Anniversary cars, this 2014 Aventador LP720-4 is finished in Giallo Maggio, an exclusive colour reserved for these models, with exterior trim in flat-black and wheels in high-gloss black. The interior is spectacular in Nero Ade and Giallo Quercus leather with an exclusive Q-Citura diamond stitching pattern. Well optioned as standard, this car also features a sports exhaust, carbon fibre spoiler (factory standard spoiler included), engine bay in carbon fibre with glass cover and stitched headlining, amounting to some £36,000 extra.

The car has been serviced by Lamborghini main dealers at regular intervals and a fresh MOT will be issued for the sale.
