SUMMARY
An engineer designed and built, Fiat-motivated, 'Frogeye' Sprite with an impressive level of detail.
DESCRIPTION
- Built by a retired engineer to his own specific requirements utilising a tubular chassis with a fibreglass body, alloy doors and boot lid and specially designed for lightness shown by the car's remarkable dry weight of just 560kg
- Motivation provided by a Fiat 2.0 Twin Cam of 1970s vintage fed by 4 Mikuni motorcycle carburettors all mated to a 5-speed Fiat gearbox
- Braking is courtesy of Wilwood with 4-pot calipers to the front and 2-pot to the rear
- The level of detail and thought that has clearly gone into the build is extremely impressive and is worthy of your early inspection
- Do note that the Frogeye is not road-registered and has been produced specifically with motorsport in mind
- Used regularly for sprints, hill-climbs and track days
- Accompanied by its MSA Logbook which is current until June 2028
