SUMMARY

An engineer-designed and built Fiat-motivated 'Frogeye' Sprite with an impressive level of detail.

DESCRIPTION

  • Built by a retired engineer to his own specific requirements utilising a tubular chassis with a fibreglass body, alloy doors and boot lid and specially designed for lightness shown by the car's remarkable dry weight of just 560kg
  • Motivation provided by a Fiat 2-litre Twin-Cam of 1970s vintage fed by four Mikuni motorcycle carburettors all mated to a 5-speed Fiat gearbox
  • Braking is courtesy of Wilwood with 4-pot calipers to the front and 2-pot to the rear
  • The level of detail and thought that has clearly gone into the build is extremely impressive and is worthy of your early inspection
  • Do note that the Frogeye is not road-registered and has been produced specifically with motorsport in mind
  • Used regularly for sprints, hill climbs and track days
  • Accompanied by its MSA Logbook which is current until June 2028
