SUMMARY
N20 SVX is #20 of only 70 Station Wagon examples of Land Rover's Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Celebration model.
DESCRIPTION
- The SVX 60th Anniversary Edition, one of 300 examples built worldwide (only 70 of which were station wagons) and only 90 cars in total came to the UK
- The SVX shares its mechanical layout with the standard Defender, including the same recently revised (as of 2008) 2.4-litre four-cylinder Ford turbo-diesel engine. It also gains Recaro seats, big wheels and distinctive brightwork, including a silver coloured grille and headlamp surround
- Flatter riding than any previous Defender courtesy of some subtle, SVX-only improvements to the damping, making it much more comfortable
- The interior also gets well-considered trim changes, iPod connectivity, a Garmin satnav unit and a decent sound system
- LE number #20 has been owned by an ex-Land Rover Development factory employee (now retired) for the last 11 years
- Fitted with panoramic glass from Landyglass which improves security, reduces road noise and eliminates window rattle
- 91,284 miles, MOT until October 2025 issued with 'no advisories'. Appropriate registration, N20 SVX
- During current ownership, #20 has been involved in various Land Rover events and Coventry Motofest 2018. Most notable being part of the 70th Anniversary Defender event at Solihull. A USB stick is supplied with these details included along with some build record details

Also the shaft between gearbox and transfer box was replaced to eliminate a known problem with transmission play.

Vehicle History
Remarks
The vehicle was supplied by Roger Young in Saltash Cornwall on 14th March 2009. They carried out the first 2 services at 9,583 and 23,653 miles. Nene Overland in Ailsworth Peterborough performed the 37,867 miles. Rudkin Vehicle Services in Creakerne Somerset did the 44,154 mile service and changed the axle, transfer and gearbox oils. The 62,771 mile service was done by Motatec Ltd in Shaftesbury Dorset. I purchased the vehicle from North West Defenders at a milage of about 78,000. Then in my ownership Guy Salmon in Coventry was instructed to do the service at 81,917 miles. Private plate stays with car. 2 keys and alarm fobs supplied with unused SVX key fob. Land Rover Owner International magazine with SVX cover and feature included. Original Garmin satnav has extra navigation icons installed including an SVX and a Bowler Nemisis. During my ownership the car has been involved in various Land Rover events and Coventry Motofest 2018. Most notable being part of the 70th Anniversary Defender event at Solihull that included a silhouette constructed using vehicles attending the event. A USB stick will be supplied with these details included along with some build record details.
