DESCRIPTION
- The 997 was initially available from July 2004 in two guises, Carrera and Carrera S, both rear-wheel drive only with identical bodywork
- The base Carrera stuck with the well established 3.6-litre power unit producing 325bhp, however the Carrera S offered 355bhp – thanks to a larger displacement engine (3.8-litres). Other general 997 enhancements included better suspension, reduced drag-coefficient and a more appealing interior
- The Carrera S also benefitted from a sports exhaust, PASM, bigger brakes, 19” wheels with red brake callipers and Xenon headlights as standard
- The car presented here is a C16, 2005 Porsche 911 (997) 3.8-litre Carrera S specified with the ‘drivers’ choice’ of the manual 6-speed (G97/01) gearbox
- Highly spec'd from new including Sport Chrono Plus, PCM/Sat-Nav, 16-way adaptive sport seats with heating, Bose sound system and 997.2 Turbo ll alloy wheels
- Extensive service history documented in original Booklet, the last dated 02/09/22, with many receipts supporting its 82,000 miles
