Very low mileage V8 Jaguar S Type in beautiful condition
DESCRIPTION
• Jaguar’s S-Type 4.0-litre V8 was the range-topper in their X200 range of cars
• The naturally aspirated, 4-litre, DOHC, 32v 8-cylinder produced 281bhp and 288 lb.ft of torque
• When mated to Jaguar’s 5-speed auto transmission, it offered 0-60 in 6.6 secs and 150mph
• This lovely example is finished in Platinum Metallic with a classic Jaguar Grey leather interior
• The Service Book contains 9 stamps from Guy Salmon (Coventry), Hartwell (Bristol), Jarret Brothers and finally Swallows Jaguar who did the last major service on 15/1/2020
• There is also a well-kept history file dating from 2003 containing the usual collection of invoices, MOT Certificates, the original Jaguar book pack and both keys.

Last major service by Swallows (the independent Jaguar specialists) when I bought the car 2 years ago, so now due for a short service. The car presents very well and has been very reliable and comfortable, particularly on long trips. We did a 750 mile road trip over Xmas, averaging 25 mpg at motorway speeds. Platinum with Pewter leather interior, CATS adaptive damping, automatic headlights, driver passenger and side airbags, electric heated door mirrors, front fog lamps, heated front and rear windows, remote locking, security system with immobiliser, sunroof, trip computer, 18” Indianapolis BBS Split Rim Alloy wheels, auto-dim interior mirror, Dynamic Stability Control, electric Sports seats with driver side memory, Headlamp levelling, power assisted steering, rain sensitive wipers, ABS, automatic climate control (air con in full working order), CD autochanger and radio cassette, electric glass sunroof, leather steering wheel, traction control 3996cc, 281bhp with 390Nm torque and runs on E10! Top speed 150 mph, 0 -60 in 6.6 secs. Fuel consumption: Urban 16 mpg, Extra Urban 30.7 mpg, Combined 23 mpg.
