DESCRIPTION
- The fifth-generation (SC44) FireBlade (2000-01) introduced significant changes and was basically a new model
- It became the first CBR series engine to adopt a fuel injection system (PGM-FI), displacement increased to 929cc, and maximum output rose significantly, to 148bhp
- Both the body and the frame were completely redesigned with the swing-arm now bolted directly onto the back of the engine cases
- A 17-inch front wheel was adopted and the bike now weighed 170kg, 15kg lighter than the earlier bikes
- This mostly original example is presented in running order complete still with its original screen, indicators and tool kit
- Fitted with a Remus Titanium exhaust system
- 13,106 recorded miles, UK-registered from new, and the MOT is valid until 19/03/26
- Recent oil change and fork seal replacement
