Very well presented, top of the range R129 in Triple Black.
DESCRIPTION
- In production for 13 years, the R129 SL probably did more than any other to create the hewn-from-solid reputation Mercedes then enjoyed
- The 500SL (SL500 from 1994) was the flagship of the range and was powered by the M119 5-litre, 32-valve V8 generating 322bhp
- This example has covered 77,551 miles since being registered in 1998, although it presents so nicely that you’d believe it’s done significantly less
- Finished in Obsidian Black (197) with the first owner also specifying the interior be covered in black leather (231)
- Supplied with a matching hardtop,a wind deflector, and an aftermarket Alpine stereo head unit
- Lots of receipts and paperwork from both main dealers and independent specialists testifying to the fact that its previous owners have spared no expense on care and maintenance
- A fine-looking SL 500 that’s in good overall condition but would benefit from a few minor jobs – wheel refurbishment, full paintwork polish and a hood clean - and guided accordingly

Any vehicles not collected by this time will be transported to a secure storage facility in Northampton by our transport partner EM Rogers, the charges for which are £175 plus VAT for removal and £10 plus VAT per day for storage. We will make contact post-sale to confirm how you will be removing your vehicle(s). If we do not hear back from you by 5pm on Sunday evening, we will arrange collection with EM Rogers on your behalf.
