SUMMARY
An excellent, one owner, low-mileage example of Honda's HRC-built superbike in impressively original condition.
DESCRIPTION
- The Honda RC45 first appeared in 1994 as the replacement for the legendary RC30
- It is thought that just over 1,200 RC45s were built making them much rarer than its predecessor
- Built by Honda's racing division, HRC and although a similar layout to the RC30 the new bike had a close firing V-four with the gear drive for the cams moved from the centre of the engine to one end
- The engine was now fed by 46mm PGM fuel-injection throttle bodies, generating 190bhp in full race trim
- Very successful in road-racing, endurance racing and took 31 wins in WSB and the Championship in 1997 with John Kocinski at the helm
- This one owner bike was purchased from Swiss Honda dealer Kurt Weber and is a 'full power' version
- Only 7,442km (4,624 miles) from new and has been fastidiously cared for by a prominent motorcycle dealer in central England
- In excellent original condition, the sharp eye'd will notice the brake discs have been upgraded but the original discs are supplied with the bike
- Also supplied with its original paddock stand, toolkit, tool box, handbooks and workshop manual
- The model-specific private number plate R750 RVF will remain with the bike
