1996 Lamborghini Diablo VT

Built by Lamborghini between 1990 and 2001, the Diablo was the first Lamborghini capable of a top speed of over 200mph. Its very successful production run lasted till 2001, when it was replaced by the Murciélago. Power for the four-wheeled beast came from a 48-valve version of the existing Lamborghini V12, which produced 492bhp, propelling the Diablo to a 207mph top speed and from 0-60mph in under 4 seconds. It was no surprise then that the Diablo was the fastest production car in the world for the 1991 model year. The Diablo VT (Viscous Traction) was introduced in 1993 and set a precedent for Lamborghini's four-wheel drive supercar production. The VT was much more refined than the earlier two-wheel drive version, it had better air circulation within the passenger's compartment, power-steering, electronically adjustable Koni shock absorbers, redesigned dashboard, larger air intakes and upgraded Brembo brakes. All of these improvements resulted in a far better driving experience with neutral handling and better reliability, whilst retaining truly awesome performance. This left-hand drive 1996 Lamborghini Diablo VT is appropriately finished in yellow with black leather interior and has covered what is believed to be a genuine 28,922 kilometres from new. The paintwork and interior are in good condition as the car has been kept in a dehumidified storage environment. In addition, there are no aftermarket parts fitted and this Diablo retains a reassuring degree of originality. A rare GT engine cover is fitted and this car has the benefit of the electronic adjustable suspension, which makes city driving a breeze.
