This, 1993 Zetec-powered, long-cockpit, Super Seven is effectively a brand new kit-build with the work started but not completed until purchased by our vendor in 2022.

DESCRIPTION

  • This long-cockpit Caterham Super Seven  (K2579) was purchased in June 1993 by its first owner (£5,190 invoice in file)
  • A new 2000cc Zetec engine with throttle bodies and an Omex Ecu fitted was purchased from Raceline Cars Ltd. in early 1997 (£2,432 build spec and receipt in file} Fitted with a 5-speed gearbox
  • It looks like the build had started but then, for unknown reasons, the car was stored for the next 25-30 years 
  • Our vendor acquired the car in 2022 but it was all in boxes and, over the following two years, it was fully built using new parts where required
  • It's supplied with the invoices from Caterham and Raceline, and further invoices for parts etc.
  • The vehicle will need an IVA prior to DVLA Registration

The Caterham was purchased in 1993 by another person (I have the original receipts). It looks like it was started to be built but then for unknown reasons the car was stored for the next 25-30 years. I acquired the car in 2022 but it was all in boxes. Over the last two years I have had someone build the car back up, we have been buying new parts where required.
