SUMMARY

The 'S' Series marked the return of TVR from the distinctive looks of the 'Wedge' cars to a more traditional design.

DESCRIPTION

  • Introduced in 1990, the S3 featured a stiffer chassis, new bodywork with 4" longer doors and a new interior
  • It retained the 2.9-litre Ford Cologne V6 which generated 168bhp and 191lb/ft and offered 0-60 in 6.8 seconds on the way to around 140mph
  • This attractive example dates from 1992 and has covered just 48,300 miles in the hands of our vendor and three previous registered keepers
  • It's finished in a lovely shade of Primrose Yellow, matched by the piping on the dark brown leather seats and the edging on the dark brown carpets
  • Recent attention includes an alternator, new battery with cut off, brake overhaul and updated audio and speakers
  • It's accompanied by a stamped service book, an Owner's Manual, both keys, and a folder full of documents and will have a fresh MOT prior to the sale
  • A super 290S that appears to have been cherished all its days
