SUMMARY
Number 2 of the Baines Racing Ducati 900SS Imola Projects that were created to replicate the 1970s racers.
DESCRIPTION
- The 'Imola Project' machines were retro-styled race replicas based on the Ducati 900SS
- Designed and built by Baines Racing, based at Silverstone Circuit, using high quality components
- Fitted with race fairings and a replica fibreglass tank, custom Imola exhausts produced by Keihan along with a blue painted frame
- This well known example is number two of the handful produced by Geoff Baines and was used in the initial catalogue photographs
- Based on a 900SS that was UK registered new in January 1992
- Complete with large history file containing numerous old MOTs, invoices from Made in Italy Motorcycles amongst others, original service/warranty booklet and old tax disc
- Unused and dry stored for last few years so will need some recommissioning before road use
- Correct numbers and presented in good overall condition
- UK-registered on a current V5C
