DESCRIPTION

  • The Series 2 RS Turbo (1986-1990) was a much more civilised driving prospect
  • 1,600cc fuel-injected CVH engine, now fitted with a water-cooled Garret T3 turbo
  • This smart example was supplied new by Brooklyn Ford in 1990, finished in Diamond White with grey cloth interior
  • Still retains the original dealer window sticker and number plate as well as the registration number-etched windows
  • Exhumed from a period of long-term storage some four years ago and now fully recommissioned
  • Recent works include a service, MOT, replacement clutch, new timing belt and tensioner, new alternator and starter motor, reconditioned turbo, alloy radiator and refurbished alloy wheels
  • Just four previous keepers. Complete with original hand book, radio manual, continuation service book and two keys
