SUMMARY
Superbly presented, with less than 18,500 miles from new and just two former keepers.
DESCRIPTION
- As a spiritual successor to the Bay, the Type 25 Bus (T3) marked quite a departure visually, being wider and longer with a bigger glass area and considerably boxier
- This super example still wears its original Dove Grey paintwork. The underneath had a black wax oil coating from the factory which has been re-done in the last three years.
- Powered by the 2.1-litre, water-cooled, MV four-cylinder boxer offering 95bhp and fitted with a manual gearbox
- Beautiful original interior with immaculate carpet, seat coverings and headliner. Swivel bases fitted on driver and passenger front seats.
- In recent years it has been driven regularly and maintained accordingly with respect for its near concours condition but also a desire to keep it moving and in full working order
- Three years current ownership and just 18,495 miles from new supported by older MOTs. MOT until March 2024 (no advisories)
- With Splitty values having gone stratospheric and Bays following closely, inevitably their successor, the Type 25, will follow suit making this low-mileage example seem very sensibly guided

Remarks
Incredibly low mileage means the engine is in good order, has been regularly serviced and MOT'd. All rubber hoses etc. replaced 3 years ago and new fuel tank fitted (these are subject to corrosion on the top due to a poor design where water gathers in a little pool so it was replaced for thoroughness)
Transmission

Remarks
Gearbox and clutch very sound, some maintenance done 3 years ago to replace old parts that had deteriorated but otherwise original condition and driven every day.

No electrical issues experienced.
Vehicle History
Remarks
The vehicle has been very well loved and looked after, driven infrequently over the years (hence the exceptionally low mileage) and made a huge impression at shows and even in magazine articles. In recent years it has been driven regularly and maintained accordingly with a respect for it's near concours condition but also a desire to keep it moving and in full working order - it is not currently treated as a museum piece, but would definitely warrant that privilege if someone wanted it to be that!
