SUMMARY
Fresh from 28-years long-term storage, this special edition Laser Capri has covered just over 20,000 miles from new.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in November 1984, the special edition Capri Laser featured a six-gauge dashboard, tinted glass, a tailgate-mounted spoiler, leather-trimmed gear lever/steering wheel, body-coloured grille/door mirrors, RS alloys, unique graphics, black-painted bumpers and Truro cloth upholstery
- Purchased from May Lane Motors, Dursley in 1987, this Capri was lightly used up until 1995, when it was put into storage where it has remained until now, with the odometer indicating just 20,054 miles
- Finished in Stratos Silver over a Truro Grey striped cloth interior and sitting on its factory alloys, still wearing its original Goodyear Grand Prix tyres
- Since being recovered from its resting place, it’s been fitted with a new battery and water pump and is running and driving, though may require further recommissioning before returning to the road
- Still displaying its original dealer number plates, tax disc holder and rear window sticker
- Supplied with its original handbooks, service book, previous tax discs and both keys
