DESCRIPTION

In 1987, the most expensive top of the W126 range was the 560 SEL, a veritable palace on wheels which combined the super-smooth 5.6-litre V8 and the long wheelbase of the SE range
Powered by a 5547cc, SOHC, V8 offering 296bhp and 336lbft of torque, an output sufficient to propel this substantial saloon from 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds and on to 155mph
This smart example was first registered on 11/05/1987 and has been enjoyed by three owners from new (two registered keepers).131,700 miles. MOT until May 2026

I have had: in March this year , the rear suspension hydraulic pipes replaced and new fluid for the self levelling, new fuel pipes, exhaust section replaced, full service. This was done at GR prestige specialist.

2 owners from new the first until 2001 who was a diplomat which is why the car ran between London, Germany and Switzerland hence some of the services were done in Germany. This was then past onto the diplomats friend who was a surgeon at Cambridge university until 2 years ago when I got it. I have not added myself as an owner as I did not want to decrease the value. The car has never been off the road like most of these cars, it has always had an mot and always been serviced by a Mercedes specialist which I have every single receipt for over the last 20+ years.
