SUMMARY
A low mileage, second generation Transit configured as a Crew Bus and in truly remarkable condition. To be sold with 'No Reserve'.
DESCRIPTION
- Originally delivered new in June 1984 from the Ford factory in Cologne, registered in France and used in Nice for most of its life before arriving in the UK
- It only covered some 32,507km (20,200 miles) whilst in France and was imported by its previous owner in 2018. A brand new Ford mph speedo was fitted for UK-registration and has now indicates 2,177miles, making a total mileage of 22,377. The original kph speedo is supplied
- It has a rare sliding driver's door, a rear tailgate and a folding rear seat that converts to a bed. Seatbelts for six
- Powered by a 2.0-litre Pinto engine and mated to a four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive. Recently serviced including a cambelt and water pump and also a recent exhaust system
- It has been subject to a full respray in Ford Gentian Blue just to bring the shine back but the rest of the van appears totally original
- It starts on the button every time, drives brilliantly, and is remarkably solid underneath as warmer climates have obviously been kind to it
- Supplied with its original jack, toolkit, Transit Handbook and a rare French language Transit brochure
