This 27’ example, imported from the USA in 2002, was fully rebuilt, inside and out, before export, a three-year project that reportedly soaked up in excess of $70,000 at the time, including a brand new GM 502 HT crated engine. Since arrival in the UK, the Airstream has been used sparingly, mainly for classic race support at circuits around the country, including several trips to Goodwood with the odd holiday excursion thrown in for good measure. Being just 27feet in length our vendor states that it is eminently more useable than many of the larger examples and with a sleeping capacity of six there is plenty of scope for the whole family to enjoy the experience. In present ownership since import, some eighteen years, it is in superb condition throughout and has been maintained regardless of cost.

Accompanied by an extensive history file, this Airstream has an impressive specification including generator, Captains chairs, air conditioning, fridge, shower, toilet, water heater alongside the many other accoutrements that one would expect in a vehicle of this standard.
