This rare, Mars Red, GTi Campaign 3-Door was owned by our vendor's late father since the early 1990s. A true 'Garage Find' and ripe for restoration.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced towards the end of the Mk1 GTi’s production, and only available with three-door 'hatch' bodywork, around 1,000 Campaign Edition models were produced for the UK
- They featured a factory-installed sliding sun roof, green-tinted glass all round, matte black A-pillars, a four-light front grille with inner fog lights, and 14" Pirelli alloy wheels
- Powered by a naturally-aspirated, 112bhp, 1.8-litre inline-four with a 5-speed manual transmission
- Acquired by our vendor's father in 1993, we understand that the car has remained in the garage into which it was driven around twenty years ago
- Coming to auction in need of full restoration, it presents a wonderful opportunity, offered as it is Without Reserve

Uplift by EM Rogers back to their storage facility in Northampton is £175 plus VAT. Storage is £10 plus VAT per day for the first seven days and £40 plus VAT per week thereafter.
