DESCRIPTION
- Part of a long term hire collection. All vehicles were well maintained by their previous before being acquired by our vendor, who is now reluctantly selling due to underestimating the time and weekend commitments required by the business
- Built by Karmann in Osnabrück, the convertible version of the Beetle was known for its high-quality build and attention to detail
- The 1978 model was part of the last production run of Beetle convertibles, as the saloon version was phased out in Europe and the U.S.
- Powered by the 1,600cc Type 126 four-cylinder, air-cooled boxer engine offering about 50bhp when new
- Finished in Alpine White over a beige interior with matching hood, and sitting on white wall tyres
- Supplied with previous MOTs and hand-written notes covering recent maintenance
