Very rare, UK-supplied, I-Litre homologation Katana with very low mileage.
DESCRIPTION
- Initially 1,100cc, the engine was sleeved down to qualify for AMA superbike racing (with a 1,000cc capacity limit)
- With a modified crank, camshaft and the addition of round-slide Mikuni VM32SS carbs, the 1-litre bike was as quick as the 1100
- Number 129 of 2,995, only 166 of these bikes were allocated to the UK market and most of these would be destined for track use
- Odometer currently shows 7,083 original miles
- Starts and runs well and has been regularly looked after, may require some recommissioning as it has been in storage for considerable time
- Overall the bike is in very good condition, showing one area of paint failure on the rear of the faring, supplied with its original tool kit and all correct parts
- With so few of these bikes being imported to the UK and even fewer surviving, this rare UK bike would be at home in any serious collection of Suzukis

Any motorcycles not collected by 12pm on Monday 15th May will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day thereafter.
