A tidy example of Yamaha's popular twin-cylinder, 2-stroke commuter bike finished in classic Yamaha Yellow and Black 'speed blocks' colour scheme.
DESCRIPTION
- Produced between 1973 and 1987 Yamaha's RD250 was a huge success story
- The learner-legal, 248cc, two-stroke twin was at sporty little commuter bike ridden by many prior to moving on to bigger bikes
- In 1983 the UK government changed the learner class and reduced it the 125cc effectively ending the 250cc market in the UK
- This 1980 bike is in nice mostly original condition although the paint work has been refreshed during its life
- Finished in classic Yamaha 'speed blocks', Kenny Roberts yellow and black colour scheme
- Confirmed running, the bike has been in storage for a period of time so some recommissioning would be required
