DESCRIPTION

  • Introduced on the UK market in May 1980, the learner-legal RD250LC proved an instant hit with younger riders and soon achieved 'cult' status
  • The model marked the introduction of Yamaha's legendary "Liquid Cooled" RD Series
  • Classic two-stroke thrills from the iconic 247cc liquid-cooled, two-stroke parallel-twin engine, known for its lively power delivery
  • The LC was lightweight, nimble and designed for agile handling, making it a popular choice for spirited road riding in its era
  • This example was re-framed many years ago and consequently is non-matching numbers. The history file contains correspondence from our vendor explaining the situation
