Remarks
The exterior of the car is very good, although there is a slight bubble starting to appear on the passenger side where the top of the rear wing joins the rear top panel. The paint is very good and the hood is taught and water tight. There is also a hard top, in red, that comes with the car.

The engine is great. It starts and runs well with no overheating issues - sometimes a complaint of the original Triumph engine. The car has been ziebarted including in the engine bay.

Remarks
The automatic transmission works well. All gears can be selected as required. It changes up and down through the gears when "D" is selected, as expected. Kick down fantastic!

The electrics all work. The car does have electronic ignition fitted. This was done by Hart Racing Services in June 1994. There have never been any issues with it. The car also has an immobiliser, it works and has never given any issues.
Vehicle History
Remarks
02 August 1987 to 26 May 1992 Owner: Gordon E Harding Bare metal restoration completed during this ownership. 26 May 1992 to 07 November 1993 Owner: Allan Craig Verrey 07 November 1993 to date Owner: Kenneth Cooper Initially owned by my father’s company and then transferred ownership to himself on 25 October 2004. This accounts for an additional keeper on the V5. Used every year, but only on dry days. The car has always been dry stored in a garage – no dampness and no sunlight. The car was then used very little over the last few years due to illness. During 2023, the car has had welding done to the front driver’s side outrigger and the ball joint rubber renewed. These were advised on the car’s last MOT. The car has been serviced and used during the summer of 2023 on several trips out. The car always runs and drives well. There is quite a lot of history with the car including MOT’s back to 1979. Receipts are from 1993. There is a photo album of the bare metal restoration. There are also many years of the Stag Owners Club magazine and a workshop manual included with the car.
Restoration Notes
The car had a bare metal restoration which was done during a previous ownership. There are several photos documenting the restoration which would have been completed some time between August 1987 and May 1992.
