SUMMARY
Not a Tii or a Turbo, but a seriously quick, intelligently engineered, and beautifully presented 2002, built to our vendor's exact requirements over several years.
DESCRIPTION
- On offer from 13-years ownership by our vendor, an experienced engineer with BMW UK and in Germany for more than 20 years
- It has a 2002 Turbo look but was not intended as a recreation/replica but simply a superbly engineered 2002 restored and modified to our vendor's exact requirements over several years
- All modifications and upgrades utilised genuine BMW parts where available (including turbo flares, air dam and spoiler), period correct aftermarket (Autoplas Louvre, Weber DCOE carbs) and NLA parts recreated from original drawings
- New original parts included doors, dual brake boosters, calipers, drums etc. Subframes stripped and refurbished with new polyurethane bushes, Bilstein suspension and Ireland Engineering adjustable anti-roll bars
- Brand new head, port-matched to an Ireland Engineering manifold, twin Weber DCOE 40s, moderate Schrick 292⁰ camshaft, front to back SS exhaust system
