DESCRIPTION
- A previous MG B Hive-supplied car. We are told the car was rebuilt, refinished in Damask Red, and Waxoyled underneath around 2004.
- The build sheet confirms it as a right-hand drive car that was originally finished in Old English White
- Current ownership for the last two years during which time it benefited from restored seats, new front poly bushes, electric cooling fan (see more details on the Seller Rating)
- Good weather equipment, zipped rear window, full tonneau and hood cover
- 15" Minilite-wheels which in conjunction with the overdrive does give the car longer legs
- The car was service by local garage just over a year ago and has had little use since

Remarks
I have only owned the car for a couple of years and for various personal reasons have not used it as much as I had intended. This MG roaster was rebuilt around 2004 which is when it was sold to the previous owner. I do not have any history prior to this date. It was sold by MGB Hive and prior to sale the car was wax oiled. There is an MG Hive invoice for the sale which includes, unusually a 12 month warranty and with 20,000 miles on the clock speaks volumes for the quality of the restoration. I do have a copy of the works build sheet and it is a RHD car however during the restoration the body colour was changed from White to Damask Red,’áa standard MG colour. The original engine was replaced at the same time. Remarks
During my ownership I have restored the seats, the foam inserts were replaced by a local trimmer. A couple of other changes an Astrali steering wheel has been fitted which I think matches the wooden dash. The front suspension has been re-bushed, poly bushes replacing the old rubber bushes. Poly Bushes always make a worthwhile improvement to the quality of the ride and handling of any car. It now has an electric cooling fan, another worthwhile modification which improves the time it takes for the car to warm up. This conversion includes an override switch and a telltale light to show when the fan is operating. The fuel gauge was a bit inaccurate and the sender in the tank has been replaced with recently redesigned version from the owners club spares scheme. A battery isolator is fitted to the rear bulkhead behind the drivers seat and there is a CTEK trickle charge battery socket as well. All the weather equipment fits and it is a nice hood with a zip in rear window, there is also a full tonneau with a centre zip as well as a hood cover which clips down to cover the hood when motoring top down. The spare wheel is the space saver type which helps with boot space when touring, from a user point of view madams gowns might now fit without creasing, an important consideration, apparently.
