From long-term family ownership, this rare Fulvia Sport Zagato is in need of recommissioning prior to active use.
DESCRIPTION
- The Fulvia Sport was a fastback two-seater based on Fulvia Coupé mechanicals and clothed in curvaceous and lightweight bodywork styled by Ercole Spada of the Zagato design house in Milan
- Powered by an innovative, 1,298cc, OHC, narrow-angle V4 engine and featuring double wishbone independent suspension, the nimble Zagato-bodied cars proved themselves well in motorsport
- Other than a V5C, there is no history or paperwork with this car
- Our vendors have confirmed that the Lancia was purchased by their late father in 2003
- Prior to that, they believe it had been fully restored in the past and was bought by the MD of a film company in the late 1990s
- The car has been on display in their private museum, and last used some ten years ago for a Lancia Rally, so an element of recommissioning will be required prior to active use
