Offered for sale is a 1.6L 1971 Lotus Elan Sprint DHC manual that has been with the current owner for the last 2 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 109/135. Only 300 miles since a comprehensive restoration in 2017...

 

 

 

The car spent most of its early life in Holland returning to the UK in 2016

Rebuilt by its 2nd owner in Holland and converted from a Coupé into a Spyder

Certificate from Andy Graham of Lotus to confirm the car is a genuine Sprint from 1971

Fitted with a new chassis and the original running gear restored by Paul Matty in 2017

Engine modified to big-valve standard (machining, inserts, valves and springs) by Spydercars

Chassis and bodyshell put together, mostly new interior fitted, engine refitted and the rest of the car finished by Spydercars

Returned to the road in early 2018 and only 300 miles since. Fresh MOT for the sale

Invoices detailing our vendor's £50,000+ investment are in the history file with its V5c, MOT etc

Our transport partners, EM Rogers, can assist with collection and delivery. Please contact them on

01604 755511 or trafficdesk@emrogers.co.uk for a quote.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
