DESCRIPTION

  • BSA hit onto a winner with the range of Bantam small capacity bikes introduced in 1948 with the D1
  • In production up until 1971 with over 250,000 produced and was constantly updated throughout its lifespan
  • One of the last models to be produced was the D175, re-named as the B175.
  • Revised engine with lower compression, Triumph front forks and other slight modifications
  • Was probably the most reliable Bantam produced with good handling
  • This ex-Shuttleworth Trust bike is presented in good overall condition
  • Running recently but might need some basic checks before road use
  • Showing 29,000 miles
