SUMMARY
A simply beautiful Daimler, subject to a professional restoration some years ago.
DESCRIPTION
- Introduced in October 1967, the V8-250 was a minor facelift of the long-running 2.5 V8 saloon
- Differences were minor: slimline bumpers, negative-earth electrics, an alternator instead of a dynamo, padded door cappings, reclinable split-bench front seats and a heated rear window
- This smart example is finished in Opalescent Golden Sand over an excellent tan interior with Nutmeg carpets and its original Radiomobile Model 80
- The car was subject to a substantial, photo-documented body and interior restoration around eight years ago
- The original engine was replaced in 1991 and, we understand, the replacement unit has been reconditioned within the last few years
- Supplied with its V5C, old MOTs and the restoration photographs

Vehicle History
Remarks
Underwent an extensive restoration around ten years ago, including a replacement reconditioned engine around the time. It formed part of a deceased estate sale subsequently, so history is sparce, but the condition of the car is the basis upon which this car should be judged.
