- The Type 34 Karmann Ghia, introduced in 1961 was the most expensive Volkswagen passenger car you could buy in the 1960s
- This 'Big Karmann' has been taken to the next level and fully restored to show-winning standard. Complete nut and bolt, body-off restoration with NOS panels, CAD-designed custom parts and flawless VW L41 black paint
- 1,776cc powerplant with a John Maher Racing bottom end, Mahle pistons, Engle 110 cam and CB carbs, delivering 102bhp through a reconditioned 1303S IRS gearbox with a taller fourth gear for smooth cruising. Upgraded brakes and suspension – Porsche front discs, custom rear brake conversion, lowered suspension with CNC dropped spindles and rust-protected chassis coated in POR15.
