DESCRIPTION

  • High quality original two-door car stripped to a bare shell and new metalwork fitted wherever needed. New firewall, transmission tunnel, strengthened chassis rails and strut braces
  • Fitted with a fully rebuilt TVR Tuscan 4.5-litre Rover-based V8, Stage 2 heads, fast-road cam, forged pistons, Edelbrock manifold, 500CFM carb and Mallory distributor generating 240bhp and 250ft/lb peak torque. Bespoke SS exhaust 
  • Power is transmitted through a Toyota Supra Turbo 5-speed gearbox with a sports shift and an uprated hydraulic clutch through a custom propshaft to a 4HA-type live rear axle with plate LSD
  • Modified Ford Escort crossmember and rack and pinion steering. Capri Mk2 adjustable 2.25" coil-overs. Fully adjustable front geometry. 4-pot Wilwood calipers on the front with 10" drums at the rear

Power is transmitted through a Toyota Supra Turbo 5 speed gearbox, with a sports shift and an uprated hydraulic clutch. This connects via a custom propshaft to a 4HA type live rear axle with plate type LSD . The axle is located with turreted adjustable telescopic dampers and rose jointed anti tramp bars. All this gives 27mph per 1000 rpm in 5th gear and easy cruising.

The front end has been fitted with a modified Ford Escort crossmember and rack and pinion steering. Capri Mk 2 adjustable shock absorbers have been converted to 2 1/4 inch coil overs and are adjustable for ride height . Brakes are 4 pot Wilwood calipers on the front with 10 inch drums at the rear, all brakes being operated via a twin hydraulic system. The fully adjustable front geometry has been optimally set up by a specialist. The car weighs 1100kg, with a 50:50 front : back weight distribution which gives it wonderfully balanced handling.

Uplift by EM Rogers back to their storage facility in Northampton is £175 plus VAT. Storage is £10 plus VAT per day for the first seven days and £40 plus VAT per week thereafter.
