Great looking 'Desert Sled' based on a 1961 TR6 Trophy.
DESCRIPTION
- The TR6 was developed by Triumph for the US-market in the late 1950s and remained in production until 1973
- Steve McQueen was a big fan of the model and famously rode one in the 1964 ISDT
- This matching numbers and mostly unrestored example is presented in good overall condition
- Given the 'desert sled' look with a single seat, alloy mudguards and sump guard
- Based on a UK-registered from new, 1961 TR6 Trophy
- Was in good running order until being laid up a few months ago
- Big history file containing numerous receipts, copy of old RF60 log book, dating letter and old MOTs
- Great looking bike and very usable
- UK-registered on a current V5C
