Remarks
The car is a 1960 MGA Mark 1 roadster which has been in my possession since November 2015. The car is in its original colour scheme of Dove Grey with red trim. It now has a black hood, not Grey as indicated on the heritage certificate. It has full weather gear, original as far as I know.

Vehicle History
Remarks
The car was built in June 1960 as a left hand drive model and exported to America, as were over 80 percent of MG roadster produced. I do not have any history of the car whilst in America but it does seem to have benefited from being in a warm climate. Further paperwork suggests the car was exported to Portugal in the mid 2000s where its owner was a member of the classic car club of Portugal. There is a rather grainy photograph of the car at this time. In June 2015 the came back to the UK and was acquired by the Classic Car Collective in London at auction. For whatever reason they did not keep the car for long and I bought it through Classic MG dealer Former Glory in November 2015. Up until 2 years ago I used the car reasonably regularly although I did not cover many miles. I did stay on top of maintenance and there are numerous invoices for work completed and MOTs. In particular the car was converted to Right Hand Drive, it was retrimmed including a new tonneau and had new marine ply flooring to the cockpit. Seat belts were fitted and a new starter motor supplied amongst other things. It was regularly serviced. Just over two years ago I had to stop driving it for medical reasons and this year I passed the car to my son for safe keeping. 2,000 pounds has been spent recently on recommissioning the car plus new tyres. With a young family he is unable to get the use out of the car and so reluctantly we have decided it is time to pas the car into new ownership.
