SUMMARY
A complete and road-registered example of the highly-rated DMW.
DESCRIPTION
- DMW (Dawson Motor Works) was founded in the mid-1940s producing racing machines using JAP engines
- Leslie Dawson's ingenuity gave this small company a big name with numerous patents held to this day such as the telematic forks, which feature on this bike, and the swinging arm which he patented in 1939
- The 200P was the smaller model to the Cortina, powered by a Villiers 8E with a 3-speed gearbox, and still with the same luxurious look and feel
- Road-registered with full UK V5C
- It appears to be complete and will require some recommissioning work to the front spindle before road use
