DESCRIPTION
- The popularity of the 5T Speed Twin was the main reason Triumph recovered so quickly after WWII
- Originally, Speed Twins were built with a rigid frame and girder forks but post-war models were fitted with telesopic forks and a rear sprung hub
- This UK-registered from new, matching numbers example is on offer from a deceased estate
- This fabulous 'garage find' is presented in good overall condition
- Unused for at least 10 years but engine turns over with good compression
- Same owner since 1978 and restored by him to current condition
- History file included containing old RF60 'buff' log book, some old MOTs, Triumph owners manual, and old V5s
- Will need some recommissioning before road use
- Great example of this iconic model
