A delightfully patinated, much-loved, example of the ever popular Bantam.
DESCRIPTION
- Developed from the pre-war DKW RT125 and announced in 1948, the Bantam became a top seller for BSA, in excess of 500,000 leaving the Birmingham factory before production ceased in 1971
- Plunger rear suspension became available as an option in 1950, as did battery electrics powered by a 6-volt Lucas alternator
- A largely original and unrestored example, displaying 29,071 miles
- Purchased by our vendor in 2010, having three former keepers
- Has been unused in his ownership forming part of a private Collection, will require recommissioning prior to returning to active use
- Offered with its V5C, expired MOT from 2011 and DVLA correspondence

Our motorcycle transport partner, Moving Motorcycles will be onsite to assist with collection and delivery. Collection must be carried out on Monday 25th August 2025 before 1200hrs and Iconic Auctioneers must be pre-notified in writing of any intent to collect by no later than 1700hrs on Sunday 24th August.
Any solo motorcycle requiring transport or without pre-notification will be transported to your address by Moving Motorcycles  for a fixed fee of GBP 170+VAT per bike. Delivery to the West Country, Wales, North of England, Scotland and rest of the world will incur additional charges (POA).
