DESCRIPTION

First registered in November 1952, this MG One and a Quarter litre YB Small Saloon is being offered from a deceased family estate and little is known about the car or its history. Owned since 1965, it is believed to have last run in the early 1970s.

Updated from the MG YA, 1,301 MG YBs were produced between 1952 and 1953, and post-war, they were considered a lively and stylish alternative to the offerings from Austin and Ford. Patently this car is in need of some restoration, however, )

16/02 called vendor, he advised has work commitments this week so hasnt been able to see what he needs to do to prep car / I advised we have deadline this week for CCA vendor advised will call me next week but as the 'Y' Type shares many mechanical underpinnings with the ubiquitous MG TD and TF and the XPAG engine is common to several 50's MGs, there are a number of specialists who could help with sourcing parts. The car is supplied with its original regiswon't make deadline this weektration book.

With only 1,300 built initially, there can't be many left, and it would seem a shame to lose another one.

Any cars not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our EM Rogers storage facility in

Northampton for a fee of £150 plus VAT. Storage will be charged at £10 plus VAT per day from Monday 2nd August onwards.

Motorcycles

Our motorcycle transport partners, Moving Motorcycles, can assist with collection and delivery.

Any motorcycles not collected by 3pm on Monday 2nd August will be taken to our transport partners facility in Northamptonshire for a

fee of £110 plus VAT, including 3 days storage. Storage will be charged at £5 plus VAT per day thereafter.

Automobilia can be collected from The Wing over the weekend or Monday morning between 9am

and midday by prior appointment. After this time it can be collected from our offices in

Warwickshire or shipped to you at your expense.
