DESCRIPTION
- Harley-Davidson have been producing motorcycles since 1903 and are one of the most famous motorcycle companies in existence
- Founded in Milwaukee and known for big V-Twin engined cruisers and custom models
- The war effort slowed production of civilian models but after the war demand was huge, along with the surplus of ex- military models flooding the market saw the last of the EL models prior to the arrival of the FL
- This 1946 EL is an evolution of the 1935 61cu.in. model and expanded to 74ci in 1941 along with other improvements including a recirculating oil system and tank-mounted speedo
- This example is a very late EL presented in very good overall condition
- Recent restoration to a good standard and in running order
- No frame number visible as pre-1970 Harley-Davidson frames were not factory stamped
- Currently owned by a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and complete with a history file
- Highly sought after and rare to find in such original condition
- UK-registered on a current V5C
