SUMMARY

Pretty Pre-War T-Series sympathetically restored with a new ash frame and replacement 1,292cc MPJG power unit.

DESCRIPTION

  • The MG TA, introduced in 1936, was the first of the T-Series Midgets and featured a 1,292cc OHV engine, 4-speed manual transmission and near 80mph top speed
  • Subject to a comprehensive mechanical and body overhaul by our vendor including a new ash frame and replacement 1,292cc MPJG engine
  • Fitted with a Volkswagen steering box for improved handling and benefiting from an interior re-trim approximately four years ago, new hood, new tonneau cover
  • Offered with a suitable history file, including 'buff' logbooks from 1945 and 1952, with ownership traceable from 1945
  • Originally registered on 29/04/1938, repainted red by 1952 and underwent multiple restorations, the most recent beginning in 2019
  • Much of the restoration work has been undertaken by a fastidious owner and we welcome any inspection of this little MG at our Silverstone sale
