DESCRIPTION
Background:
Launched in 2013, the Porsche 981 Cayman was a significant step forward for Porsche’s mid-engined sports coupe. Lighter, stiffer and more refined than its predecessor, the 981 featured a new chassis, wider track, improved aerodynamics and a more luxurious interior. Powered by a naturally aspirated flat-six engine mounted amidships, it delivered exceptional balance and driver engagement, particularly when paired with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox. As with all modern Porsches, the Cayman was available with a range of factory options that could transform its character, from understated cruiser to focused sports car.
The Car:
First registered in 2013, this Cayman 981 is equipped with the sought-after manual transmission and a selection of factory options that enhance both comfort and performance. These include sport seats, heated seats, climate control, touchscreen PCM with navigation, Bose sound system and distinctive Techno wheels.
The car has been maintained exclusively by Porsche main dealers from new, with a full service history on file. It was covered by Porsche warranty and subsequently the Porsche extended warranty for the entirety of its life until recently, and has been maintained regardless of cost.
Recent maintenance includes:
• Replacement of both air conditioning condensers
• New front and rear boot gas struts
The car is supplied with its full book pack, unopened toolkit and original emergency tyre kit.
