Background:
Launched in 2005, the Continental Flying Spur offered a compelling blend of performance, comfort and engineering from Bentley’s Crewe facility. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 producing over 550bhp, it featured four-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension, providing immense capability with limousine-like refinement. With a top speed in excess of 190mph and an opulent four-seat cabin trimmed in the finest leather and veneers, it quickly became a flagship saloon for the brand and a popular choice among those seeking understated luxury and power.

The Car:
Supplied new by Bentley Hadley Green on 5 September 2005, this Flying Spur was originally finished in Silver Tempest with a Portland and Beluga leather interior. It has since been professionally repainted in white and presents today as a useable example with scope to improve. The exterior does show some signs of age but provides an opportunity for the next custodian to enhance its condition and add value.

The car has had just two former keepers, with the most recent owner retaining it for the past sixteen years. During that time, it formed part of a private fleet and much of the servicing was carried out in-house, hence the absence of a detailed service history. A fresh MOT has been supplied and the car has recently benefited from a service carried out by a marque specialist.

The original factory build sheet confirms a number of desirable features, including:
