Company Name, Company Registration Number, email address plus a vast amount of original factory drawings for the Metro 6R4 and other motorsport related cars. The company name and email address were purchased by our vendor from us in 2024, having purchased it from the long-term owner who purchased it directly from the administrator when MG Rover Group went into administration.

We can confirm that the registered company Austin Rover Ltd, the Domain Name - 'austinroverltd.co.uk' belong to our vendor and are his property to be disposed of as he sees fit. He will instruct his accountants to deal with the technical side of the transfer of the dormant company Austin Rover Ltd. (8644851) to the company’s new owner and will inform Companies House of the relevant details. The timescale of the transfer should be approximately 28 days from the date of the sale.

Engineering Drawings.

Originally looking like the ‘Drawings Chests’ from several different drawing offices being cleared out, the drawings have been meticulously gone through and noted in a separate book by our vendor, so it is now known exactly which drawings, and which models are included in the Lot. This was no mean feat as there is a substantial number of them, some flat, most rolled, generally unmarked and date from 1967/1986. The list of clients/customers at the top of the drawings include British Leyland, Austin Rover Motorsport, Rover Company Ltd., BL Cars Ltd., Land Rover Ltd., Austin Morris Group, Austin Morris Longbridge (1979), Williams Grand Prix Engineering Ltd., Leyland Cars, Canley and Leyland Cars, Longbridge.

There are far too many to list here, but they include 1,275cc A-Series components through to Buick/Rover V8 engine component drawings, drawings showing how to strengthen the V8 for Motorsport, how to convert a V8 to V6 for the Metro 6R4, complete gearbox and differential drawings for the Metro 6R4 and much, much more.
